Emily Keifer (24) is a Southern California native and recent graduate from the USC School of Cinematic Arts with a degree in Cinema and Media Studies. Since graduating this May, Emily has worked in the Art Department on an ABC/Marvel television pilot, been named a grand prize winner in a Disney/Adobe design competition, and become an official Adobe Influencer.
Within the world of short film, Emily works as a Writer/Director on her own projects, as well as an Editor, Production Designer, Costume Designer, and actress in other projects. She is extremely passionate about special effects and designs/constructs heavily stylized miniature sets used in a variety of film projects.
Between film projects Emily resumes work as a professional illustrator in both traditional and digital mediums. Her work includes short and feature film posters, personal portraits, and the board game Sherlock Holmes and Moriarty’s Web.
Emily previously attended Otis College of Art and Design where she majored in Architecture/Landscape/Interiors, also serving as a teacher’s assistant for the Drawing and Composition course in the Foundation Department.
Her academic interests revolve around analysis of Disney’s theme parks and Princesses. She has compiled a large body of written work on these subjects, presently in the process of being translated into a book and/or web series.
